DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
The Borough DPW provides a number of services to residents and businesses such as snow removal, street sweeping, maintenance of storm inlets, road patching, and general park maintenance. A unique service provided by this department is the Leaf Pickup, which begins the 2nd week of November and ends the last week of November. The DPW uses a leaf vacuum machine to dispose of the residents’ leaves, which are raked to the curb line for removal.
