National Night Out 2014
  

 

   On August 5, 2014 the Borough of Berwick Police Department hosted its first ever “National Night Out” celebration. The celebration, held in the borough building parking lot, included free food and drinks, games, tours of emergency vehicles, a tour of police headquarters and educational information regarding safety was distributed. There were more than three hundred (300) people in attendance at the celebration.
 
   The Chief of Police would like to thank Berwick Fire Chief, Bill Coolbaugh, and his family, Reliance Fire Company, Defender Fire Company, Ranger Hose Company, West Berwick Hose Company, Berwick Area Ambulance, Berwick Area Community Watch Group, Berwick Area United Way, Beyond Violence, Geisinger’s Life Flight, Pennsylvania Game Commission, Columbia-Montour SWAT Team, Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Columbia County Prison, Columbia County Adult and Juvenile Probation Offices and the Salem Township Police Department for all their support in making the celebration a monumental success..
